when does sprint release it?

i think buttons rock. I can basically type on my centro with my eyes closed based on feel alone. There is a reason apple put word correction algorithms on the iphone. Typing on a flat surface based only on sight response is a lot more prone to mistakes. iPhone is also the only major smartphone with no physical qwerty keyboard (bb storm, g1, pre have it)

thats like saying the only flaw in a 2-seater sports car is that it doesnt have backseats…
…this is their design…

listen no one trying to copy iphones design seriously you dont know anything.. they are trying to make a phone that looks very good put your self in their position so what are you gonna make a phone that is shaped like a triangle so that people can say its not copying the iphone i mean come on stop being so ignorant and such a fan boy.. every phone is basically shaped the same way just some are bigger then others and designed differently..

That looks pretty awesome! How does this phone sync with a computer? Does it have its own computer application so you can manage your stuff there too? I hope you don’t have to synchronize everything with a web service. It would also be great if you can import old Palm files (not applications, contacts and such) to the phone. Can you beam files?

Awesome!! That was amazing! haha I thought it was really interesting. Absolutely enjoyed it!

In that case, that’s awesome. It would be scratch resistant as well then, which is very important for touchscreen phones. I am strongly considering this phone just in case Apple still does not include copy/paste in their next iphone firmware update. This would be a better alternative though for those who haven’t bought the iphone yet. Their UI performance is pretty at par with each other.

Agreed, palm has been in the business for a long time.

I don’t care about all these cell technologies IMO. I just want it to work. I have sprints everythign plan… I love it! No worries, no hassles.

Well seeing that you can do pinching, it tells me it’s a capacitive screen. Therefore you are working on a glass surface. ENJOY!

This looks like a pretty awesome phone! I still don’t think it will be as awesome as the iphone is! As an apple lover, I love seeing this good competition because it makes/forces apple to be better than the competition!
January 29th, 2008 at 5:53 pm
yes… i must agree… they all try to copy iphones nice design… but i think in early future manufacturers will come with something own…

Because claiming a five-year leap for a Palm Pilot clone packed with a GSM radio and an accelerometer is not a good idea, except when speaking to pre-teen geeks.
Palm invented the touchscreen experience (following the Newton failure): ten years later, Apple invented the touchscreen hype.

Why is there so much hate aimed towards the iPhone? Guess its “A king on top of the hill thing” when you’re on top everyone just wants to bring you down.
February 7th, 2008 at 12:30 pm
well iphone wanted to act like a palm first so i think its fair play fuk that bullshit iphone this phone and the HTC line kicks apple ass all day everyday
February 8th, 2008 at 9:52 pm
Is so good to see someone speak the truth the iphone isn’t a smart phone get it right ppl
February 9th, 2008 at 1:34 pm
i know what you mean but Sprint has also brought jobs back to the shores.. I haven’t dealt with Filipino/Saudi employees in 2 months and I’m satisfied.
February 9th, 2008 at 9:33 pm
Yeah. Sprint is the devil. $493 for one month with two lines? I DONT THINK SO!!! it was a billing error on their part, but still, having to deal with HORRIBLE EMPLOYEES that are trained to BLAME THE CUSTOMER(allegedly) is just awful. two hours TWO HOURS ON THE PHONE.

The reason she is saying Apple should sue is because they actually PATENTED the pinch gesture. But since they are busy picking psystar’s bones (yay) they may let it slide.

this is a sleek phone. a true iphone rival. I wonder if its display is made of glass as well. I hope so.
