Amazing how many things this does better/does things iPhone can`t do.Syncs with “the cloud”…updates are pushed out over the air (no home computer needed). The running apps turning into cards is amazing. Close an app ? Just flick the card off the top of the screen.
Notice that this phone can be operated one-handed ambidextrously, while the clumsy iPhone usually requires TWO HANDS and can`t even multi-task. Even the shape/size of the Pre fits the hand better.

I do everything google. How does this sync with google contacts and google calender? I use goosync to do this. Is there the same functionality?

I’ll get this when it comes to Europe. I actually like the look of this phone a lot more than the iphone. I have never been a fan of the shape of Apples hyped phone. The Palm Pre looks frickin awesome. Can’t wait to have a play with it.

  11. Damasteroo7 Says:

OK… NO – compared to all other data plans on the market.. Sprint is the cheapest and on top of that, the fastest. Trust me I work with the data for sprint. Its remarkable

Better specs than Iphone at least..and it`s got gps!
Too bad it`s got no extendable memory ..but still looks real promising !

will the other palms (say, the palm centro) be getting a software update other than palm os5?

  17. stuttterb Says:

the sprint data plan is like the cheapst plan out there i plan about 110.00 a for unlimited everything but minutes so in actuality the pre and that plan would work hand in hand.
i text more than i talk do well over 2000 texts a month an use the internet like theres no tomorrow so yea the data plan aint bad

  18. greentofu101 Says:

This is a nice phone, too bad the Sprint Data Plan is so much money =[

  19. yardieatl Says:

OS looks great…appearance wise the phone is too rounded. For the guys we need it to be a bit more masculine with squarer edges for atleast the front.
